Megan Margaret

Born 9:31 P.M. on Sep 22nd
6 lbs 8 oz
18.5 inches

She was early. Unexpected. and Fast. No time for an epidural. No choice. No kidding. Definitely not cool. I have no words since I am still processing the last 72 hours. I think I'm traumatized. and I'm sure I won't be blogging. For a long time. I'm a pile of overwhelmed, happy, and relieved tears.

Here are some pics. (We also did not have a camera since we left the house in such a hurry).

L loves her, but shows signs of hating us. We've been getting all kinds of dirty looks and she gets mad about everything. Says "no" to everything. Acts out about everything. Good times.

See everyone when I emerge from the postpartum coma. I hate this part.

  2. She's beautiful! I read about your ordeal on Emily's blog. No epidural is definitely not cool. When I had Brinley it took full effect when she was already out but at least it worked a little. She basically slid right out. All of that is why I would need a heavenly messenger to tell me I was supposed to have another one!

Good luck with the recovery! I hope you get lots of rest and attention. And now we'll have Big Megan, Little Megan and Mini Megan!!

  3. She's such a cutie! At least the labor part is over, although I know the rest isnt much easier. So glad you are both doing well, and congrats on the addition. Im sure things will go to some resemblance of normal before you know it.

  8. Completely understand. Jacqueline came too fast, etc. same. exact. thing. no time for epidural. me screaming at spencer to run the red lights (water broke at home) she came 2 1/2 hours after the first inkling of, 'might i be in labor?' *hugs*
